If you use a sword to hit a mob multiple times within a short timespan youβll notice the sword swings very few times compared to the sounds it makes, and itβs the same thing for the spear. Itβs how the game has worked for years, spears are particularly noticeable because they actually change the animation to take longer unlike anything else in the game.
This can be fixed by swapping the order of the body and armor render controllers so the attachable can properly reference the main body's geometry.

However, this issue is already being tracked in MCPE-221698, so I'll be resolving this one as a Duplicate.
This bug is already fixed in the Preview version for Minecraft 26.0, and should hopefully make it to the full drop next year!
