I am currently unable to, but an easy way to see this behavior is either by giving the Giant mob AI and spawning a lot of them either in single or multiplayer, or increasing the size of a lot of mobs with commands. This mob size issue is also apparent with any huge mobs added by mods; if a mod that adds mobs adds a giant mob, only a few can be loaded at a time for the same issues stated in this post.

If its intentional, then they should give horse traps armor or make saddles prevent burning
