If you have a copy of the world available, you might like to upload a copy of it for investigation.
On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)
If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.
Unfortunately we havenโt been able to reproduce the issue so far. In order to track this issue, could you please let us know of any additional information that might be contributing to the bug - for example, if you are using a specific piece of software in the background, or if this affects a particular brand of mouse hardware or its associated software.
Also, please note this bug is separate to MCPE-230921 which seems to be caused by scrolling the mouse, and may be made worse by smooth scrolling features.
Thanks for the new information - could you please let us know some additional information?
Did you uninstall the game at any point?
Which version did you update from?
How were you prompted to update the game?
It would be helpful if you could also provide some additional information through Mojang Support.

Thank you for your patience while we continue to investigate this issue.
Please note:
Signed-in players joining via split-screen may appear as guests with a "(1)" next to their name instead of their gamertag (which is as designed); their player data (eg inventory, position, etc.) should remain intact.
We are using this bug to track reports of losing progress when playing on a Realm in split-screen, which is affecting some players
If you have new information about the bug that might help the team, please feel free to comment.
Thank you for your report!
We're already tracking this issue at MCPE-172380, so we will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.

Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being resolved as Working as Intended.
Horses, Mules, and Donkeys are now server-authoritative, just like Camels and Happy Ghasts. All movement logic is calculated on the server, which can introduce a slight delay compared to client-side control.
By moving movement handling to the server, we can enable more complex behaviors that werenโt possible before, such as mounts floating in water while being ridden and other advanced physical interactions. These improvements make mounts more consistent and give us the flexibility to make them smarter and more fun.

Thanks for the information provided so far. It would help us greatly if you were also able to provide for us some information about the crash, from your PC logs.
Launch Event Viewer (Windows menu, type โEvent Viewerโ)
Pick "Windows Logs" in the tree view on the left, then pick "Application"
Look at events for things like Minecraft.
With crashes you'll usually find an Error event with a source similar to "Application Error" that contains a reference the the Minecraft executable, and hopeful adjacent to that event is an Information event from the "Windows Error Reporting" source. That event should also reference the Minecraft executable. Inside that event there's a section at the bottom that looks something like this:
Analysis symbol:
Rechecking for solution: 0
Report Id: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Report Status: 100
Hashed bucket:
Cab Guid: 0
If you can send us those values it would help the team dig into the crash more thoroughly.
If the issue is ongoing, it would be helpful if you could also provide some additional information through Mojang Support.

Realms were mentioned below, does this issue occur in local, singleplayer worlds as well?
Are there any device details that are affected? Is this only occurring when using a particular mouse, or touchpad? Do you have any other input methods/devices or apps that could be contributing to the issue?
