In this beta, the spawnpoint command is broken. What I mean is that it will spawn the player below bedrock and into the void, especially on superflat worlds

Can you please update your bug report with steps to reproduce. I've tried a bunch of combinations using the spawnpoint command and am unable to reproduce. Format below.
What I expected to happen was...:
When I killed a squid, it should have dropped an ink sac.
What actually happened was...:
Instead, it dropped an apple.
Steps to Reproduce:
Find a squid (though we all know how difficult they are to find when you actually want to find one).
Kill the squid.
Notice that it drops apples instead of ink sacs. How am I supposed to get black dye now?
Pictures or video of you reproducing the issue can also assist.
If you had a pressure plate under your spawnpoint you are likley affected by MCPE-65487.
