Cant find a single villager in my world. Mobs are very rare. I have tried to change the difficulty from normal to peaceful and back to normal or even hardcore but no luck - no villagers, rare mobs.

We were unable to reproduce the problem you are describing in the latest version.

I think something just bugged out with your world generation. I opened up the seed and everything was just fine. The villagers existed, and so did the animals.
