Since the leatest betas, i've noticed that there are way less deserts generating! it's extremely hard to find them now!
How to reproduce:
Since the /locate command can't locate desert temples, the only way the bug can be reproduced is literally flying around the 1.18 and 1.17.41 worlds and see if there are any deserts around. you may not even find one single desert.
What i expected to happen was...:
Deserts are generating well, and are not so hard to find.
What is actually happening is...:
Deserts are almost impossible to find.
The site Chunk Base is also a good helper of confirming this bug. screenshots are attached to show the desert generation between BE 1.17.0 and BE 1.18.0.

Alright to confirm this further, try to find biomes such as acacia that are near deserts to try to locate a desert. If you cant make sure to do /locate temple. If the desert temple is the closest temple it should show the cords

All the Savanna biomes that i found were near Forests or Oceans, also the /locate temple brings me to the Jungle biome, not the Desert temple one.

In version 1.18, the seeds in the bedrock and in the java are identical. Because of this, the biomes are also identical. I think it might be a change in parity so that the generation matches Java, but I don't think that this change will make it difficult to find deserts.
I'm still unsure about this. I can't find any deserts exept i use a biome locator map, i don't think the biome placement is really in parity with java edition.
