high GPU use when joining world/server

When joining any multiplayer server minecraft freezes and shows "Not Responding” for a few seconds.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch minecraft 1.21.11

  2. join any server/world

  3. game freezes for a few seconds then unfreezes and works fine (until you join a new server again)

 

4GB of RAM is allocated by the way

windows 11, java 21 and Intel arc B580 GPU
