its fixed now somehow
i have the same issue the blocks do eventually Break but it takes 17 seconds and the issue started in 1.16.221 for me
same issue in 1.17 except i get a 17 second ping
im hosting a lan game with bds to be clear
lan game it also happens if i open a world in normal minecraft
i still have this issue in 1.17
i have the same problem on windows 10
