I’ve experienced this issue on multiple occasions playing Bedrock on PS4. When flying with an elytra and experiencing a death due to kinetic energy all of my equipped armor and elytra disappear (even with plenty of durability for all items upon death). I can recover all of my inventory items except any armor/elytra I was wearing at the time of death. Extremely frustrating and has resulted in multiple sets of near maxed out gear disappearing forever. This bug seems to have been around for a while and is pretty significant because it basically treats all armor as though it has curse of vanishing. This is extremely discouraging once you reach the point in game play where elytra becomes the primary mode of transportation. Is there any plan to resolve this after what seems like years of a severe issue???
