If the end turning purple isn't an issue than I don't know what is.the potion works great in the over world.i understand that turning it purple does make it brighter. I just think that it would look 100 times better if the light levels were raised without the washing out effect.

actually my report is for version 1.5.1 and the other report that you sited is for version 1.4.2.so my report is still relevant.
I did both and neither worked.
