It happens when you exit the options or multiplayer menus. You still can press the buttons, but you can not enter a world or scroll through worlds.

This is true. I saw it. It happens with creepers and tnt
It is not a duplicate, there are other door duplication bugs, but this one started to happen in 0.6.1 only. It is not like other door duplication bugs!
When you open up a trapped chest no signal comes, when items are in the chest signal comes, when items are in a locked chest, signal still comes.
