I feel the necessity to add that linking the .minecraft folder is nothing new for me. I have had it like that for about a month before it stopped working.

Urielsalis, when I delete the .minecraft folder, I am able to run it, but when I run it, it creates another .minecraft folder, and then the MCL wont launch again until I delete the .minecraft folder. Synthestra I am. I created a shortcut to the folder itself, so I would be able to use a different drive, instead of my C: drive.

The launcher wont open. I will click the shortcut, nothing happens, I will click the .exe itself, nothing happens, and I have even tried to reinstall the launcher. Something I left out which I now think I should have said is I am using a shortcut of the .minecraft file so I can move it.
