This is a bug that affects all animals, as far as I can tell. I've seen it happen with not just rabbits, but cows, sheep, and chickens. Cram enough chickens into a small enough area, and you'll get groups of them trying to occupy the same spot in a corner.
Happening for me in 1.8 and 1.8.1 pre-release 1.
In all honesty that is the worst response ever. I find a flower forest and when using bone meal I only get red tulips and azure bluet when I should be getting a bunch of different flowers and ... Bad luck ... thats your answer? I would like this to be reviewed by someone higher in authority please!
