The behaviour is exhibited by the HARPOON or INCISOR SPEAR in the CHOMP Add On, available (with source) here:

Potential workaround: Dell hardware

Uninstall Minecraft using the control panel uninstaller. Wait until it completed and verify packs are still present in shared folder and worlds are still present in <id> folder. Start launcher, choose Bedrock > latest > install

Fresh install resolved my crash when entering worlds. (Error details prior to fresh install are on MCPE-231823)

Screen shot of the progress just before the game crashes with an access violation exception:

If you experience that this problem has returned with the January Windows 11 patching, you may need to reapply the workaround given in:

MCPE-175138

MCPE-175550

MCPE-175398

Still same issue in all versions up to 1.22.80.22 preview Resource Pack via Mojang public github, including current release v1.20.70.6: https://github.com/Mojang/bedrock-samples/releases

Why do you close these without triage? Even 'works as intended' would be better than 'you haven't verified it's still a problem every 3 months'.

If it hasn't been triaged, and it hasn't been changed, or it hasn't been fixed, a problem doesn't magically vanish.

This appears to be a new incompatibility on Dell systems with Minecraft Bedrock and RealTek audio drivers. The workaround is to replace the Realtek driver with a standard HD Audio driver (see forum posts and screenshots. The workaround is confirmed for my issue.
