not sure if this will help or not but the download bar doesn't move at all during the second step and then the popup will glitch out and the music will briefly stop
it appears to work with any other key so long as you press that one first and continue to hold it while pressing the inventory key
on Android 10 Minecraft version 1.16.221 when the error occurs the audio will stop while the glitch is occuring
