I go to launch minecraft and it says its loading and then my launcher disappears like the Mojang loading screen would come up but it doesn't when I try and launch it again it says Game already Running.

This issue occurs for me as well, when the minecraft server is rebooted. All loaded villagers despawn.
hey im still having this issue! when i press f3, the sounds bit says 0/0 + 0/0 no matter where i go or what i do. subtitles also don't work n all. would love help on this as i've reinstalled minecraft and tried renaming options to options_old n all that

I have the same problem with this new snapshot. This bug reporting system is useless if all bug reports matching the same keywords as another COMPLETELY UNRELATED bug report are marked as duplicates.

It's definitely client-side. It has nothing to do with the server.
As you can see from the screenshot I don't have minecraft running, only the launcher.
