I just tested 1.14.3-Pre3 and this issue is still present. I can only get a cursor in for example a chest or trading interface by tabbing out of the game and back in.

Don't know if this is related, but I can't see my cursor in any interface except my own inventory.

Running Arch Linux, intel integrated graphics using Oracle Java 8
