MC-34749 has to do with a virus program. Since I have no virus program running, my problem doesn't pertain to MC-34749.
So Mojang just dumps this error message into a generic cause even though the cause isn't present. And then directs people to the Community to solve Mojang's problems.
Interesting...
It is installed. The environment box shows it when you spin it open.
BUT - I thought I had rebooted the server after I installed JDK 16. I just rebooted the Windows/Hyper-V server and the Minecraft server is coming up.
Boy do I feel the fool...
