It seems that as of yesterday, re-installing the launcher gave another update that solved the problem.

Same. This is the exact same problem I'm getting. My launcher updated earlier and it broke again, I got the same issue on April 20, it was solved by them reverting the update, but now it just came up again
I don't get why I'm still having this issue yet my computer or myself has no reference to Norway whatsoever. My language is set to English and my region is Unites States

I'm having the same problem. It's only just appeared within the last hour... but the strange thing is I'm in the United States
It worked for me yesterday by re-installing the launcher (another update was provided that fixed the issue for me). The bug tracker website was down yesterday so I couldn't say anything.
