The command is placed in a repeating command block,which needs redstone

Their durability didn't increase.I can't record because I have a problem with my audio driver and obs is not working

1.I typed "/xp 300L"
2.I've enchanted my diamond armor and my tools with books
3.I typed "/enchant Skiuileuf minecraft:mending"
4.I summoned a lot of XPOrbs using a reppetitive command block
5.My armor's durability didn't increase (the same thing applies for my tools)
