I've been experiencing this quite a bit as well. It was always the pillagers, and killing them always fixed it. Pretty sad this hasn't even been addressed yet.

I tried that, and it didn't work. Trust me, anythingnyou could possibly think of, I've tried. I've even reinstalled my sound drivers and updated them. Disabled them then re-enabled them, etc. Nothint worked.
