no i used no datapacks on my server
im getting the same thing also seems to happen in 1.18.1 preview
this affects 1.18 and 1.18.1! i think or its a different bug
this seems to be a glitch in 1.18!
1.18 pre release 1 and 2 both contain this bug
this is still buggy in pre release 2
do you have the right version of java installed? and have you tried reinstalling the game? 1.17 uses java 16 (you can also use java 17 which also works on 1.18 pre releases) because it used to do the same to me and found out it was outdated java and i also had to reinstall the game to get it working.
ive been flying around and it seems like every mineshaft ive come across in lush caves have this issue
Whenever im offline i keep freezing so im suffering with the same issue and its a pain when your in the middle of fighting mobs in skyblock because you relog and find yourself dead
i went from 1.17.1 full release to 1.18.1 full release
