While Minecraft is running and a video is replayed from the album in the Nintendo switch, the video freezes and lags.

I have found that it only effects certain blocks, not only transparent. It made chests, anvils, and red mushrooms invisible while in the room as well.
This issue occured out of nowhere. No settings were changed.
I've tried restarting multiple times but it will not resolve the issue. The game completely freezes entities and does not render. After trying for a while. The game rendered but had highly noticeable lag and issues with game mechanics such as AI, moving, placing or breaking blocks
