Not sure, but it turned out that this issue was only on some servers, in which I think it is a plugin issue. Most likely a biome switcher or a plugin closely related.

Sorry, but it actually turns out that this error occurs with all entities.
Transparency is just a texture. I could make the wooden planks invisible and it would remain the same. I could make the stair block look like an ordinary wooden plank.
