Update:
If you break and replace the beacon (not the structure just the actual beacon) it starts working again.
in my case, some blocks randomly render as grey/black horizontally striped.
Same problem. Grass not spreading to dirt blocks.
This is also happening to me... Attempted with manual start and auto start
