I have tried that, reinstalling the Minecraft Launcher and MCBE, but it still installed a legacy version.
Downloading appx file would work, but I did not experience this issue again after reinstalling my computer.
btw, now that I cannot update my Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store (and Xbox App). It shows I should restart the app to update even I have all "Minecraft.exe" processes killed and I cannot find any containing "Minecraft". (I checked that it is up-to-date Minecraft Launcher.) (Well, UWP apps have a Retry button next to that, but Win32 apps doesn't.)
Should I just ignore that and only check for updates when launching Minecraft Launcher
or reinstall the system again(I'm not gonna do that since that takes too much time)?
