try and make a new directory, it works for me!
anybody who looks at this (especially Neko) for people who run MacOS/MacOSX their Minecraft folder is "minecraft" not ".minecraft"
maybe it's because you're hard powering the block?
(hard powering is when a redstone component is facing into a block
not when it has been powered by redstone dust.

it might be because you were on government education wifi
you should know better. use 17w06a or 17w13b when it comes out
I think that this is caused by clicking twice in the same game tick in certain conditions. also confirmation that it's in 1.18rc-3
