I have noticed the same issue on bedrock PS4. When I try to propel myself in the air with a slime block I just go up one block, unless I stand on the edge of the slime block.
The issue cannot be replicated intentionally as far as I’m aware. I am unable to record it on video. The bug is rare and appears to be a random chance involving chunk borders. While rare, it does exist and I thought I should post it here. When it happens again I will be sure to take a screenshot and upload it.
