Well, the passenger thing might explain the trouble in minecarts or on horses also.... Confirmed chunks not loading beyond initial view distance.

The reason for reporting is it effects the newest snapshot, it continues to be listed as resolved but has not resolved over the last 4 or 5 snapshots. Thanks for your time.
