I have this problem on the PS4 Bedrock version after the last update ( 2.03 ) but only when playing split screen.
This has been happening to me on my Nintendo Switch ever since the release of v1.16.20. It's really frustrating and likely not good for the health of my console. I seriously hope that this gets fixed soon.
