Hey, I’m not sure why this was changed to say there is a duplicate? I cannot find a duplicate and the issue is still ongoing.

Yes, I have deleted and reinstalled the launcher and still have the same problem.

I am having the same issue (also on macOS) and also cannot find ‘launcher_settings.json’ anywhere in the minecraft folder.
