After the most recent update I have received, the issue seems to be resolved. Now sure who resolved it, but it's fixed now.
I had this problem, I used "chmod +x bedrock_server", then it launched.
Obviously, cd into the directory where the server executable is. 🙂
They released the update only for PC and Servers, not consoles/mobile, thus putting a compatibility rift between the two. I play on my Xbox or switch, can't access my own server right now.
