The new sounds of the Zombie Villager in the 1.11 have the same problem.
Strange... Perhaps this is because of mods ...
It happens in the 1.7.9 version.

Not so. You can cut slabs of stone or cobblestone with axe as if they were wooden.
Oh, yes. I've changed it here and the bug is gone. But the texture pack doesn't change the cobblestone.
