Does the inactivity on this error mean that there is done nothing to help on this issue? My son might as well delete minecraft then.

I cannot find the solution on the linked error report other than to restart my labtop which resulted in the same error when I started minecraft.

In the minecraft folder there are no sub folders called crash-reports.

I have attached a scrren dump of the minecraft folder.
