Yes, and if it is intended it is bad customer service.
It seams someone has mixed the meanings of customer service and customer support.
Why is this marked resolved though? I opened Minecraft and don't see a change. I can at least say this is the worst customer service I have ever seen.

not true, stone slabs and stairs have the old texture of stone, but they are newer blocks so why can't the new nether block use the netherrack texture where they use it in default
