Can confirm that the same thing happening on my end
I'm using MCW10 when i equip my custom skin i load up my world a message appears Multiplayer restricted skin
Now when i press continue my world loads again but after that the game crashes completely without any reason
After i reopen the game my skin got reverted back to Alex and sometimes Steve
I looked on the more recent beta version and the same thing happening there

Can confirm that I'm also having this issue 

In the latest version 1.6.0.14

This bug still effects version 1.2.9.1

All works now the only error i'm getting is:
Missing sound for event: minecraft:block.pumpkin.carve
