Okay, a little more info. after days, still bobbing in water. i am now in pre release 1.9-2.

Here is the scenerio:
plains biome on left, swampland on right
All the stuck animals are in the swamp water only.
There are no swimming animals in plains water

i tried to attach the world in rar file, but it said it was too big to attach to this comment.

I was waiting for some of my farms, so I opened text "/" and went afk for hours. they were still bobbing up and down in water.
