More like a clone. That one I believe was only resolved as invalid because of it being reported during the 1.18 experimental snapshots or whatever they were called, a time when Mojang was not accepting bug reports for those experimental snapshots.

Works as intended. There is no way that you can delete your account. To have your account deleted, you create a bug report asking to have your account deleted. When the bug report is resolved, the user account gets deleted. “Fixed” in this sense is like “done”.

I looked in the changelog of all following snapshots and in none of them does it say that fungi no longer grow into a thick variant. So this is a bug
