I think the problem is with the ghast not with the other mobs since they behave as usual in all other situations
what about the iron golems and zoglins which we know kill everything on sight? I know for a fact in earlier versions they were aggressive toward the ghasts? even tamed wolves don't want to attack it and we know they don't do that only to creepers
This bug appears only in the newest launcher because it doesn't appear when I try to open it with the older version of the launcher that can be accessed by
right clicking the icon

this also applies to rabbits if they touch a block with their heads they take damage and since they just to get around they suffocate to death

this affects zoglins and iron golems too, the ghast has some real problems
