are you IN the beacon beam? or is the beam blocked by a solid block?
The skin system is buggy. to fix it
1. completely quit minecraft
2. Re Open Minecraft and relog into your account (for credentials reset)
3. Choose a Launcher Profile with 1.7.9 or later
4.Change your skin
5. Completetely quit minecraft
6. Reopen Minecraft And Choose a version 1.7.9 or later

GUYS ITS NOT A BuG!!! IT WOULD COPY PATTERN IF YOU listen!! The Reason it dosnt copy the pattern is because your not copying the nbt data..... use cmd on a mac or cntrl on a window at the same time as your pick block (default 3 mouse button) so i guess... works as intended!

Ya I Thinks That is if You Have VBO off and 16+ Chunk Rendering and a AMD graphic card. Turn On VBO's and turn down your chunk Loading down to 16 or less then it should fix it 😃
