I am also still affected (1.17.41). On Windows and Switch.
I used to have it too when 1.17.30 came out. I was messing around with the sidebar and shortly found out I can use it to bypass some events in the dressing room resulting in changing colour of clothings. It was noticeable to people on multiplayer.
The same hour, a sudden marketplace maintenance/crash happened (22/9/2021). When it got resolved, my sidebar disappeared.
