I find that sprinting up a long flight of stairs exhausts you very fast too.
Please mark as resolved as I made a mistake back then.

The items are hard to see but they are towards the bottom right corner and the other picture is the same but I dropped some torches in.
This is intended Mojang just recycles the swimming animation for some reason
