I can confirm, my boat disappears whenever I get out, I tried exiting without a block nearby and it still happens. Logging out and logging back in makes the boat reappear. I play on Android.
Absolutely agree, my kids play on newish iPads (less than three years old). We have had chunk loading issues for years, it's significantly worse now.
