This is the command that I used in Minecraft 1.8 when it worked:

/blockdata -82 62 244 {Text1:"",Text2:"Press to exit",Text3:"",Text4:""}

/blockdata -82 62 244 {Text1:"",Text2:"Press to exit",Text3:"",Text4:""}

I used it on a sign.
I also noticed that the title command and tellraw command no longer work.
