I haven't tested but since i haven't gotten a response until now I assume that it still is an issue

Step 1: Place line of slabs, amount does not matter

Step 2: Try making the slabs full blocks by holding L2 and moving along the line

Result: The auto placement will fail making you have to place it by tapping L2 instead

Expected result:The autoplacement should've worked like how it intended to work

There is nothing else to this, it's that simply and a little frustrating in creative builds

Ok the description wasn't very clear, so this is a follow up explain ing more clearly. If you have a row of half slabs and hold the placement button and move along to rapidly place them it will only place one so you will have to place each slab individually rather than rapidly placing them
