I'm still having this issue in Windows 10, bedrock 1.18.1
I cannot add any addons at all.
The discord provided with no help nothing at all, I was ignored could I get someone to actually do there job please.
That doesn’t make any sense because even on a clean install with no modded game it’ll still crash unexpectedly.
Ok I'm glad it's not just me experiencing this issue, I play on server with my friend and he doesn't have any issues at all which I thought was really weird, fingers crossed it'll get fixed soon honestly.
Same issue here, whenever i exit the nether the game infinitely says “generating world” “building terrain”. I tried waiting it out but it seems the only solution is the quit the game completely and reload. This bug makes my world unplayable. I remember ONE time this bug didn’t occur in my world and i was able to load back into the overworld but there was a chunk of my overworld that was not loading and this also resulted in me quiting the game and reloading.

no it happened the most if i slept in a bed and because of that they turned invisible and didn't catch fire for some reason but could still harm me

It was my resource pack.
I actually have seen this happen. I am a map maker and anytime I interact with the world edge withe fill commands, setblock commands, or others, the game crashes and corrupts
