Interesting, spatial sound wasn't previously on, but I turned it on and it works now. I didn't think it would work that way but thanks!
Also it didn't happen before 1.17.40
I think it isn't a dupe though, because it isn't a proximity issue, the sound is cutting in and out and being glitchy.
Yeah, I lost almost all of my cured villagers because of this, because I wanted to zombify them again.
