Realms not working

Minecraft realms wont load on microsoft. Have previously worked on the laptop. Minecraft for windows and the minecraft launcher both fully updated. Every account signed out of and back into. Messages shows connectivity problems with network. Did all the troubleshooting and still doesnt say there is a realm to join. 1 in every around 20 try it comes up to join but then wont move past the loading screen. Even though others on the realms on the same wifi can join and play. Im the one hosting (and paying) for the realm. Not sure how to fix it at this point and need help
