Tick speed inconsistent upon reopening world, mostly affecting fire near wood

Sometimes, upon reopening a world, I find a lot of wood that I placed is on fire or already gone. The wood is one block away from fire sources, but this isn’t supposed to happen because a nether portal keeps appearing in the space between, extinguishing the flames. But when I reopen the world sometimes, this isn’t the case. I lose a lot of wood blocks and world because of this issue. This is on a survival world, no cheats, fire spreads on and random tick speed at default. This also mostly occurs when my previous issue occurs (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-68204)
