Unable to open realm after closing

Every single time I close a realm when there are more than 2 other players online, I am unable to open the realm again or replace the realm with another world/backup until a few hours later. I have spent money and feel that my money is essentially being drained into nowhere as my realm has very little uptime during the period where most people are online. This is aggrevated by the fact that hackers are more likely to pop up during this timing, forcing me to close the realm, making me unable to open it until a few hours later where most of the players are offline. Whether it is intentional or not, I am definitely not satisfied with the service I am being provided with, as my own realm players keep persuading me to open it although I am unable to, and I get all the blame for it. Please, Mojang, fix this problem!
